Il mese di Maggio \u00e8 quello in cui nel mondo animale davvero \u00e8 intensa la voglia di accoppiarsi. Il richiamo delle femmine si fa forte e il maschio raglia, si agita, rompe <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">la capezza<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">, scalcia, morde. Chi non ricorda una certa morbosa curiosit\u00e0 da ragazzi, quando la nostra valle ancora era popolata da questi equini? E lo stupore che ci rapiva alla visione degli assalti irrefrenabili e impudichi degli asini? Maggio \u00e8 il mese <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">pi\u00f9<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> della stagione primaverile, quindi della rinascita, della fecondit\u00e0, della vita. In questo mese, e particolarmente nei primi giorni, le pi\u00f9 anziane con ironica malizia chiedevano ai giovanotti: &#8211; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Ju si piandatu Maju?<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> Volevano sapere, cio\u00e8, se s\u2019erano accoppiati con le giovani mogli e se avevano fatto il loro dovere di maschi. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Era cos\u00ec profondo il legame tra Maggio e tutto ci\u00f2 che attiene alla sfera sessuale che persino un piccolo, semplice strumento agricolo di legno quale <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">ju pizzucu<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> o <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span dell\u2019aratro che penetra la terra) era sempre associato al sopracitato detto del \u201cpiantare il maggio\u201d. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">In Italia e in molti centri del Lazio (P\u00e0stena, con <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">L\u2019Abbusso<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">) o del vicino Abruzzo (Tornimparte, con <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Ju Cal\u00e8nne<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">) resistono ancora riti e tradizioni legati al \u201c<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Calendimaggio<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u201d: piantare l\u2019albero nella piazza del paese per propiziare prosperit\u00e0 a tutto il villaggio, eseguire canti e serenate, collocare ghirlande di fiori alle finestre delle ragazze da marito. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Anche nella <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-BoldMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><b>Valle dell\u2019Aniene<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">, fino alla seconda guerra mondiale, c\u2019era quest\u2019usanza di festeggiare l\u2019arrivo di Maggio con l\u2019offerta di mazzi di <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">scocciapigne<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> (ciclamini) alle ragazze e di adornare con ghirlande di bosso e fiori di campo gli altarini della Madonna nei vicoli del centro storico, dove le giovani gareggiavano di sera, alla luce tremula dei lumini, a chi eseguiva canti pi\u00f9 belli alla Vergine. Prima dell\u2019Ascensione, poi, al mattino presto in tutti i paesi si tenevano per diversi giorni le \u201c<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Rogazziuni<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u201d: lunghe processioni che raggiungevano i confini dell\u2019abitato per la benedizione dei campi e durante le quali i contadini, recanti un giglio in mano, pregavano per scongiurare la grandine e propiziarsi buoni raccolti.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Da molti anni, al primo di Maggio si fa \u201cIl Maggetto\u201d e in tutti i paesi della Valle ha preso piede la moda di consumare fave e pecorino in campagna o all\u2019osteria, come a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-BoldMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><b>Camerata Nuova.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> Ci sono anziani, per\u00f2, che a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-BoldMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><b>Roviano<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> ripetono un rito arcaico e che si riscontra solo a Paganico Sabino. Ora, per divertire i nipotini, si fa quasi nascostamente, ma in passato, ci si riuniva con il vicinato e ci si divertiva ad esorcizzare la morte giocando a fare a \u201c<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">S. Filippu e Jacu<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u201d (questi due santi, un tempo, si ricordavano il primo di maggio) con il gheriglio della noce gettato dentro un bicchiere di vino. Prima, per\u00f2, si doveva recitare questa cantilena: \u201c<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">San Filippu e Jacu, \/ la prima d\u00ec de maju, \/ se mm\u2019ha da mur\u00ec \/ ammonde \u2018n ge ren\u00ec, \/ se ha da camb\u00e0 \/ ammonde no\u2019 tard\u00e0\u201d. <\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> Se tornava a galla, vinceva la vita e la prosperit\u00e0, se restava in fondo, trionfava la morte e la sventura. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"> <span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">A <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-BoldMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><b>Paganico Sabino<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">, un grazioso paesotto che si affaccia sul Lago del Turano, questa usanza viene riproposta anche quest\u2019anno in occasione del \u201cCalennemaju\u201d. Il primo di maggio, alle ore 11, la Pro-loco distribuisce tre noci e invita i cittadini al rito dell\u2019immersione del gheriglio nel bicchiere di vino rosso. Anche qui si recita la cantilena: \u201c <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">San Felippu e Jacu \/ facemu a Calennemaju: \/ se moro va a funnu, \/ se no felice ritorno<\/span><\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: TimesNewRomanPSMT,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u201d. Nello stesso giorno si tiene la \u201cSagra dei Vertuti\u201d, una gustosa zuppa contadina composta di legumi e cereali (fagioli, lenticchie, fave, ceci, chicchi di grano e granturco), aromatizzata da foglioline di timo selvatico e olio d\u2019oliva.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 &nbsp; &nbsp; di Artemio Tacchia &nbsp; &nbsp; A Maju rajjanu j\u2019asini! \u2013 dicono a Roviano.
